Readers are my Blog Writing Inspiration – #MFRWauthor

Author Robin Michaela - #MFRWauthor 52 Week #BlogChallengeIt’s Week 41 of the #MFRWauthor Blog Challenge. Thanks for joining me once again! The topic this week is all about my blog writing inspiration – which, for me, is my readers. Without my readers, there would be no other reason to do this week after week.

I appreciate all of you!! <blows kisses>

When I came across this 52-week blog challenge at the end of last year, I grabbed at it with both hands. Okay, I can write romance novels but, for some reason, coming up with weekly blog topics was daunting. My friend, Esther C. Kane of the internet marketing firm, Eckweb Designs, Inc., has told me many, many, MANY times that blog articles are the way to go (in fact, I’ve been ghost writing blog articles for some of her clients for years).

These articles help people find your work, they help build your brand and, best of all, they give readers a connection to the person behind the romance novels (little ol’ me!).

Realistically, I only have to hang in there for 11 more weeks to officially fulfill the blog writing challenge. OMG, I will have written every single Friday for a year! I’ll have posted through the high points (vacations! family visits! a new book release!) and through the low points (we lost my husband’s brother in January and my father in April).

I’m really hoping the 52-Week challenge is repeated in 2018 (with different topics, of course), because I’m hooked and I want to continue my weekly blog writing. If you have any topic ideas, please – for the love of all that’s holy – post ’em in the comments! Thanks!!

I agree. This blog hop has made me the most consistent than I have been in the last 4 years with my blog. Some of the topics weren’t easy, but still I’ve managed. Maybe next year I’ll actually start at the beginning since I didn’t come across it until week 4 or 5.

I’m sorry about your losses this year. Tough stuff. I completely agree with you about hoping NFRW does another blog challenge next year. This one’s kept me going consistently for 41 weeks. It’s definitely a record.

Thanks, Sherry. It’s also been nice to “see” everyone each week and learn about you all. I feel like I’ve made new friends through the challenge. FYI, I posted a comment under this week’s reminder on the MFRW blog site to request next year’s challenge – maybe that will help!

I agree about this particular Hop and hope it does renew itself in 2018 with new content. I am thinking of one to create as well just to keep the embers glowing for those of us who enjoy the weekly challenge. Thanks for sharing!

Raine, I’m on board if you do create one – let me know! I also posted under this week’s MFRW challenge (in the comments) about wanting this to continue next year. Katherine says if we would like to come up with topics, they’ll do it. I’m going to post a comment next week to see if people are interested in tossing up some topics for them.
